It sure was fun - both of us 'hobbling' up there -twice in a row! Great jumps, great views, great company - hope you are not 'escaping' to Yosemite too soon! Hopefully I gain enough wingsuit skills for us to gather a local 'flock' above Moab. Having spotted Ronin in his pink bandana on this blog, it makes more sense how he got 'confused' and ended up back at the exit point - you are in trouble now! Glad the pics turned out ok. Have fun, stay safe. 3-2-1 C Ya

Careful is my middle name, haven't you noticed? :) Just kidding. I agree with you, though, and am hoping to mostly use my dagger for terminal jumps. I'd definitely like to get a second chance if I tap the wall, and I really like my Flik. Mick is very much back at it, jumping nonstop, it sounds like!

Steph,
Hope your knee is feeling better and glad to hear Mick is back at it. Not to be a Mother Hubbard, but be careful jumping unvented in Moab. On certain exits the margin is slim. Mike

You can say that again! Last spring I couldn't let go of ski season up in the LaSals, and ended up bruising my tailbone while trying to survive a downhill section that seemed like a giant slope of partially frozen cement, on those thin little skate skis :) But is there anything more luxurious than a good skate in beautiful, swishy conditions? One good day makes all those frustrating ones worth it, somehow. Today it is dumping snow again in Moab, much to my surprise! Maybe they will groom up there soon.....

Steph,

As a former nordic ski instructor, I've noticed that lots of fit people tend to get injured during the late season icy spring conditions.

Be careful, especially with the recovering knee.
